It has always interested me when someone says about Jesus “He wasn’t God. He was just a man.”
Do they not realize the contonations, the complexities, of what a man is? Who this man was?
No, they only meant that He was mortal, sinful, like us. But even as a man, He was much more than that, much…
I agree with all of this, except that Jesus was sinful. Jesus was stainless, which was the only reason WHY and HOW He was able to save us from our own sins in the first place. He was tempted, but He never sinned. That’s definitely something that put Him over every other man as well.
